One day, a certain incident in the school involving his two daughters Geeta (Zaira Wasim) and Babita (Suhani Bhatnagar) changes his perspective about his daughters. As luck would have it, all the four children turn out to be daughters, which saddens Mahavir Singh Phogat to a large extent. That’s why he dreams of having a son from his pregnant wife (Sakshi Tanwar), in order to fulfil his dream. Because of reasons which were beyond his control, he becomes unsuccessful in fulfilling his most cherished dream. a gold medal for India in the international arena. Right from the word go, Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan) lives with a dream of winning.
